About Client:
WalletHub is the first-ever website to offer free credit scores and full credit reports that are updated on a daily basis. But we consider that just an appetizer, as we’ve built the brain of an artificially intelligent financial advisor that will truly leave your wallet full. WalletHub’s brain performs three primary functions, providing: 1) Customized credit-improvement advice; 2) Personalized savings alerts; and 3) 24/7 wallet surveillance. Such features are supplemented by more reviews of financial products, professionals and companies than any other website offers and a diverse community of subject matter experts. WalletHub is owned by Evolution Finance, Inc. and is based in Washington, DC.
My Role in this Company:
I was User Interface and User Experience designer working closely with product designer CEO of company. I was also constantly brainstorming and wire framing on whiteboards and working on designs by using Sketch, Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
Challange:
To create a useful webpage based tools UI/UX designed for ordinary people who want to improve their financial wellness. If you cannot decide whether you should buy or rent a house - that’s where WalletHub calculators steps in and helps you to decide. The goal was to do them as basic and easy to use as possible since the target market is very diverse.
Solution:
Below you can find various calculator designs that were done using live brainstorming sessions on whiteboard, the Photoshop, an illustrator and etc. Every design had comments and variables for developers so they could easily implement user-experience of these designs. Every calculator works on desktop and mobile devices, on all platforms and browsers.
